Day wise North East India travel Itinerary: Hill Station Tour

Day 1: Guwahati

Pickup from the Airport or Railway station. Meet Our expert tour Guide driver. Later visit to Guwahati local tourist places, such as Kamakhya temple, Shanakar Dev Kalakshetra, Assam state museum. Evening visit Guwahati local markets. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 2: Guwahati to Kaziranga National Park

After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga(200 K/M – 4hrs). Kaziranga is famous for its one-horned Rhinos, and Tigers. This park is UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE. En route visit Assam Tea gardens. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 3: Kaziranga Safaris

Early in the morning 5.30 AM, can enjoy Elephant safari to Kaziranga. After breakfast, visit Kaziranga Orchid garden, it is India’s biggest biodiversity park. After lunch 1.30 PM, take a  Jeep safari in Kohora range. Overnight stay in  the Hotel Kaziranga National Park

Day 4: Kaziranga to Bomdila

After breakfast, proceed to Bomdila ( 195 K/M – 3hr ). Bomdila is a famous tourist place in Arunachal Pradesh. En route visit Kameng River, Mountain view point. Later visit Bomdila monastery, Upper gompa. Evening explore Bomdila local markets. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 5: Bomdila to Tawang

After breakfast, head to Tawang (200 K/m – 4 hr ). Tawang is a famous for snow lovers. En route visit most beautiful  Sela Lakes it over 13000 ft. Later visit Jung Waterfalls , Jaswanth Singh war memorial, and local markets. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 6: Tawang local sightseeing

After breakfast, visit World second largest 400 year old Tawang Monastery, Indo –China war memorial. Later visit Buddha Stupa, and Tawang local culture show.Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 7: Tawang to Bumla Pass

After breakfast, proceed to Bumla Pass by a another car. En route visit Madhuri Lake, Nuranung waterfalls and India– China Border. Afternoon return back to Tawang town. Overnight stay in the Hotel Tawang.

Day 8: Tawang to Dirang 

After breakfast, drive to Dirang,( 95 K/m – 3hr ). Dirang is a famous for Sangti valley, and monpa tribes. En route visit Dirang valley,local Monpa tribal villages, and Hot spring water spot. Later visit Dirang local market and towns. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 9: Dirang to Tezpur

After breakfast, drive to Tezpur (190 K/M – 4hrs).  Tezpur is the most beautiful town of North east India. En route visit Agani Garh Hills, Cold park, Ganesh ghat. Later visit Tezpur Local  market and towns. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 10: Tezpur to Itanagar

After breakfast, proceed to Itanagar ( 170 K/M – 3hr ). Itanagar is the largest capital of Arunachal Pradesh. En route  visit Ita Fort , Nehru State Museum. Later explore Itanagar local city. Overnight stay  in the Hotel.

Day 11. tanagar to Ziro

After breakfast, drive to Ziro Valley ( 115 K/M – 3hr ). Ziro is the famous for Apatnai tribes, and Music festival. En route visit Ziro local places. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 12: Ziro

After breakfast, sightseeing in Ziro, such as Tarin Fish Farm, Kile Pakho, and Meghna Cave Temple. Later visit Shiva Linga, Pine Grove, and Dolo Mando, it is a famous scenic beauty. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 13: Ziro to Jorhat

After breakfast, Proceed to Jorhat  (165 K/M – 3hr ).  Jorhat is famous for Tea garden. En route visit Tea research center, Tea gardens. Later visit Jorhat local markets. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 14. Jorhat to Majuli Island

After breakfast, proceed to Majuli, it is known as the World’s largest river line. Take a ferry from Nimati Ghat to proceed Majuli Island. Check in Hotel, and Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 15: Majuli Island

After breakfast, places to visit Majuli, this Island is famous for Mishing tribes, and Oldest Satras. Later visit Garmur satra, Auniati satra, Kamalabari satra, and Brahmaputra river view. Overnight stay in the Home stay .

Day 16: Majuli to Sivsagar

After breakfast, drive to Sivasagar, it is known as the Assam heritage place. En route visit Rang Gahr, Kareng gahr, Talatal ghar. Later visit Sivadol, and Joysagar tank. Evening visit Sivsagar local town. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 17: Sivsagar to Guwahati

Day 18. Guwahati
